Welcome to Suhl!

Ever been to Suhl? Not yet? Then let us acquaint you with one of the most charming cities and regions in Central Germany. Just under 37,000 people live here in the wide valley of the Lauter, Hasel and Vesser riverswith its charming natural environment. Not to mention the wonderful Thuringia Forest with its mountains, deep winding valleys and woods as far as the eye can see. And the city itself is certainly worth a look. Since September 2013, the entire city area has been officially recognised as a “state-approved health resort”, making it the largest in Thuringia! Experience a successful mixture of the traditional and the new, the little city where everything is close by! Nature is always a stone’s throw away – after all, we’re in the most natural city in the Free State of Thuringia. Suhl’s railway station provides access to the Thuringian capital of Erfurt or the theatre town of Meiningen, less than an hour away.
