Project ASÜ (education and employment for asylum applicants in South Thuringia)
A joint project of TIBOR GmbH and SPA gGmbH:
– Simple woodworking and metalworking (SPA gGmbH, Mr Michael Schlott)
– Sewing (TIBOR GmbH)
– Trials on PCs, working with German software, PC structure (TIBOR GmbH)
– “First steps in German” language lessons (TIBOR GmbH)

Workshop and sewing opening times: Group 1 9.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. and Group 2 1.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.
German and PC lesson times: 9.00 a.m. – 10.30 a.m., 10.45 a.m. – 12.15 p.m., 12.45 p.m. – 2.15 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.
Initial orientation courses for asylum applicants whose prospects for recognition are as yet unknown (courses offered by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees).
These courses cover navigating daily life in Germany, including shopping, using public transportation, customs and behavioural standards, always in conjunction with German language lessons.
Lesson times: Course 1: 9.00 a.m. – 12.15 p.m., with 15 min break, Course 2: 12.45 p.m. – 4.00 p.m., with 15 min break

Sports:
“Integration Through Sport in Thuringia” is a special sporting project that is part of the refugee support offered by the Suhl Initial Reception Facility. You can have access to a variety of sports here, both indoor and outdoor.
The project will also provide you with support once you have been assigned to a district by coordinating contacts with local clubs and associations. The project is organised as a Facebook group which can be found here: (External Facebook link).
